Service Offerings

Frigoglass Standard Warranty is offered as part of the ICM sales process, at no cost to the customer, in order to guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials, following proper installation and usage.

Frigoglass Warranty Services represents the repair service for Frigoglass ICMs according to the Frigoglass Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions through the Frigoserve Network.

  • Offered when the customer purchases an ICM, at no cost, for a specified period according to Warranty Terms.
  • Includes spare parts and labour for repairing all in-warranty malfunctions.

 

 

During or after the warranty period, customers can be assured that their Cold Drink Equipment fleet operates efficiently, uninterrupted and to its full potential , enhancing brand image and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Post Warranty Service is a customised, tailor-made service offering the repair of Cold Drink Equipment in the marketplace or in the warehouse, to ensure efficient operation and the timely repair of any malfunction or aesthetic issue the customer considers necessary, at a fixed and affordable price.

Our flexible range of Post Warranty products is designed to meet each customer’s unique and specific requirements in terms of response times, spare parts availability and management, on-site and warehouse repairs, preventive maintenance performance, budget simplification and control, etc.

  • Customer and Frigoserve agree on the services that are required (which usually include all the warranty services as well as additional services)
  • Planned on a yearly (or more regular) basis
  • Can support your entire Cold Drink Equipment fleet (and even non-Frigoglass coolers and other Cold Drink Equipment like post-mix, water dispensers, vending machines, drafts etc.)

Rebranding services are considered to be services that will support the changing of the branding of an ICM. This can be performed in the marketplace through a campaign, in warehouses, or even in Frigoglass refurbishment centers.

Refurbishment services relate to the repair and face-lift of an ICM, through performing specific operations and using original spare parts, in order to extend the life span of an ICM. Frigoserve experts have long and extensive experience and can propose and implement a suitable Refurbishment solution to fulfill your requirements. This is undertaken either in equipped warehouses or in Frigoserve-dedicated Refurbishment centers.

Based on the specific operations needed to be carried out on the units, there are two types of Refurbishment Services levels

  • Light/Medium refurbishment, including cleaning/sanitization, re-branding, minor replacements and packaging; normally performed in warehouses or workshops
  • Advanced/Heavy refurbishment, including additional body-work, painting, electrical and cooling operations (where needed); normally performed in dedicated Refurbishment Production Lines

One-To-One Placement involves the transportation and installation of Cold Drink Equipment units to specified outlets in the marketplace, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery as well as the appropriate procedures for the installation.

The One-To-One Placement reduces the time between the purchase of a unit and its placement in the marketplace, allowing faster commencement of  sales. Furthermore, Frigoserve can assume all responsibilities such as warehousing, transportation, dispatching, thereby ensuring quality of service and reducing  administrative costs from the time that ICMs are purchased until they are operational in the marketplace.

Basic One-To-One Services include:

  • Placement order handling

Frigoserve Spare Parts Management focuses on:

  • Delivery service optimization
  • Availability of spare parts worldwide
  • Elimination of customers’ spare parts stocks and warehousing

Demand forecasting and planning is undertaken to ensure optimum stock availability and shorten lead times using a special IT tool

Central and local warehouses are being introduced on a need basis to meet customer service requirements, ensure worldwide availability of stock and to minimise or even eliminate customers’ stocks and warehouses.

The reduction and/or elimination of spare parts stocks at customers’ premises reduces reserved working capital and warehousing/storage areas. Moreover it reduces internal operating and administration costs and resources utilized for warehousing, budgeting, ordering and management. This  leads to a significant increase in Return on Investment and reduction in Operating Expenses.

Spare Parts Management is an integrated part of our Warranty and Post Warranty Services, allowing Frigoserve to offer a high quality service to its customers.  

Preventive maintenance services ensure that ICM operational  performance is secured whilst downtime costs and lost sales are minimized.

Our team of people organizes a preventive maintenance schedule, especially during the cold season, in order to ensure  top performance of the Cold Drink Equipment including energy consumption optimization, and most importantly extension of the useful lifetime.

Main activities during Preventive Maintenance include checking and repairing/replacing the following:

Cleaning of the condenser and filter, if applicable

Mechanical System

  • Correct placement of the equipment
  • Fixing of the front and back grid
  • Self-closing system of the door
  • Correct fixing of the fan support/grid
  • Drainage system
  • Operating noise

Electrical System

  • Power cable
  • Illumination system
  • Electrical connections

Refrigerating system

  • Compressor operating
  • Starting relay, overload and capacitor
  • Fan motor condenser/evaporator
  • Proper functioning of the thermostat or electric controller

ICM’s Yearly Service and Preventive Maintenance

Frigoserve technical personnel has extensive experience in field services and ICMs, and are available worldwide to train  technical teams and supervisors.

Training sessions are customised to each customer’s specific needs, specializing in:

  • Servicing new technology units (e.g. CO2, hydrocarbon units)
  • Technical training on installation and servicing of specific models both in the marketplace and in warehouses (existing models or when new ones are introduced)
  • Introduction of retrofit solutions to units in the market

Training sessions can be arranged worldwide, either at the customer’s premises or in the market.
